Terms of use

Version of 28 October 2026. Applies to camoworthy.app and the CamoWorthy apps.

These terms are an agreement between you, and the organisation you use CamoWorthy for, and the CamoWorthy team (“we”). By agreeing to them when you first sign in, you accept them for yourself and confirm that you may accept them for your organisation. If your organisation has signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement wins where the two differ.

1. The service and the trial

CamoWorthy is a set of web apps for aircraft technical records work, with one account for all of them. During the trial it is free of charge. It is new software: features may change, appear or go away, and it may have errors or be unavailable at times. We tell trial users before the trial ends or paid plans start; nothing becomes paid without your organisation agreeing to it.

2. Your account

Accounts are by invitation and are personal: don't share your sign-in. Keep your password safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done with it.

3. Your content

What you and your organisation put into CamoWorthy (records, items, comments, files) stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and show it only as needed to provide the service to you and the people you share it with. You confirm that you are allowed to upload what you upload, including records from other parties and the names and signatures of certifying staff they contain, and that it breaks no law or confidentiality duty.

4. Not a substitute for airworthiness judgement

CamoWorthy helps you with records work. It does not approve anything, replace your approved procedures or exposition, or change who is responsible under the rules that apply to you. Decisions on airworthiness, acceptance and compliance stay with your qualified staff. Reference data in the apps may be incomplete or out of date: check it against the official sources.

5. AI assistants

If you connect an AI assistant to CamoWorthy, it acts for you, with your permissions. Its provider's terms apply to what it receives. AI output can be wrong: review what it proposes before you approve it. You are responsible for the changes you approve.

Some apps have a help assistant that answers questions about how the app works. Its answers can be wrong, and it can't change anything. It only sees what you type into it, not your data. It has fair-use limits, and it pauses for a day for anyone who keeps using it for something else.

6. Fair use

Don't try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, test or break our security, overload the service, copy it in bulk by automated means other than the connections we offer, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does, and we tell you why.

7. Data processing for your organisation

For personal data in your organisation's project content, your organisation is the controller and we are its processor (GDPR Art. 28). We:

  • process it only to provide the service and on your organisation's documented instructions, which are these terms and how it uses the apps;
  • make sure everyone who can access it is bound to confidentiality;
  • protect it with the measures described in the Privacy policy;
  • use only the service providers listed there, and tell you before adding or replacing one, so your organisation can object;
  • help your organisation answer requests from people exercising their rights, and with security and breach duties;
  • tell your organisation without undue delay if a breach affects its data;
  • at the end, return the data on request and delete it within 30 days (backups expire within 14 more days), unless a law requires us to keep it;
  • give your organisation the information it needs to check we keep to this.

8. Confidentiality

We treat your content as confidential. We look at it only to help you when you ask, to keep the service running and secure, or when the law requires it, and we don't use it to train AI models or share it with anyone else.

9. Availability and backups

We take nightly backups and keep them for 14 days, but during the trial we promise no particular availability. Keep your original records: CamoWorthy is a working tool, not your archive.

10. Feedback

Ideas and feedback you give us help shape the product. We may use them freely, without owing you anything for them.

11. Liability

During the free trial the service is provided “as is”, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data, and our total liability is limited to 100 euros. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited.

12. Ending

You or your organisation can stop using CamoWorthy at any time, and we can end the trial with 14 days' notice (or at once if these terms are seriously broken). Your organisation can then ask for a copy of its data within 30 days; after that we delete it as set out in section 7.

13. Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you and ask you to agree again the next time you sign in. If you don't agree, you can stop using the service.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where we are established, without affecting mandatory consumer or data protection rules that apply where you are. We'll always try to settle a disagreement by talking first.

15. Contact
